If you ever need to repair your Vizio television, it may be necessary to remove the back panel. Most of the internal components are located in the rear of the set, and aren't accessible from the front. It's easy to remove the back of a Vizio, and all you need is a screwdriver and a blanket. Even if you have no electronics experience, you can remove the back of a Vizio in just a few minutes.

Step 2

Fold a soft blanket into a rectangle large enough to cover the front of the Vizio. Lay the blanket on a stable work surface and place the Vizio face-down onto the blanket. This will help protect the screen from scratches and other damage while you remove the back panel.
