How to Scan Pictures With a Canon MP210

The Canon PIXMA MP210 is an all-in-one inkjet printer for the home or small office that can print, copy and scan documents and photos. The device offers a color vertical optical resolution of 1,200 dpi and a color horizontal optical resolution of 4,800 dpi. The device also can print 17 color pages a minute and produce borderless 4-by-6-inch prints in about 46 seconds. With its standard trays installed, the printer can handle 100 sheets.

Step 1

Turn on the scanner. Place the picture face-down on the scanner glass. Close the lid.

Step 2

Press the "Scan" button on the scanner. The scanner's software will automatically launch on your computer. Press the "Scan/Import" button in the software menu. Choose "Photos/Documents," then click "Color Photo" under "Document Type" in the left column.

Step 3

Click the green "Scan" button in the left column. The photo will be scanned to your computer.
