You have shopped the Amazon website and found just the right television to purchase, but you want to be sure you'll be at home when it is delivered. Use Amazon's scheduled delivery service to schedule the delivery date and time for certain heavy or bulky items.
Choosing Your Amazon Delivery Date and Time
If the item you purchase on Amazon is eligible for a scheduled delivery, then during the checkout process, you are given the option to select the delivery date and time. You are prompted to enter your ZIP code, enter a delivery date, and choose a range of time for the delivery. Amazon does not charge extra shipping for the scheduled delivery. If you are not at home at the scheduled delivery time, the carrier does not leave the item at your house.

Exceptions to Choosing Amazon Delivery Dates
The availability of delivery dates varies depending on the area where you live. Also, there are some areas where you cannot schedule the delivery using the options in the Amazon check-out process. In those cases, Amazon contacts you by phone and sets up the delivery schedule. Amazon does not offer the scheduled delivery option for P.O. box addresses, APO/FPO addresses, or U.S. territories and freely associated states.
