How to Send Text Links

If you find an interesting website or an interesting video, you may want to share the link with your friends or family members. You can do this by sending it as a text link from either a phone or from a computer. This will allow you to share the information almost instantly.

Send Text Links From One Cell Phone to Another Cell Phone

Step 1

Go to your cell phone's main menu and select "Message" from the menu. Choose "Create Message" from the drop-down list. Select "New Message" and type the text link that you wish to send.

Step 2

Enter the phone number of the recipient by selecting "Send to." Choose the phone number of your recipient if the phone number is saved in your phonebook or contacts list. If it is not saved on your phone, type the number manually.

Step 3

Send the text link by pressing the "Send" button. Once the person receives the text, they will be able to open it by clicking on it.

Send Text Links From a PC or Laptop To a Cell Phone

Step 1

Turn on the PC or laptop and connect it to the Internet.

Step 2

Browse the web for text messaging services. A few that you can use are CBFSMS, Text4free or Txt2day. Register for the site by providing a user name and password if required.

Step 3

Enter the recipient's cell phone number. Include the area code and the country code if necessary. Type the text link that you wish to send in the box for the body of the message. You can also copy and paste it in using the "Ctrl" and "C" keys.

Step 4

Send the text link to your recipient by clicking the "Send" button.
