How to Speak to a Live Person at Virgin Mobile

By Rick Paulas

Virgin Mobile is among the largest cell phone providers in the world, specializing in prepaid and pay as you go service. As such, the company receives a high volume of calls from users who are experiencing problems with their service or seeking account information. Virgin Mobile customer service representatives are available from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific time.

Step 1

Gather the information regarding your account. When you are on the phone with a customer service representative from Virgin Mobile you will be asked to provide account information such as the phone number associated with it, your PIN number, the name on the account and the last four digits of the account holder's Social Security number.

Step 2

Call Virgin Mobile from any phone. The customer service number listed on the U.S. website is 888-322-1122, as of 2010. Press "2" for Spanish or stay on the line for English.

Step 3

Choose from the options in the main menu. In certain cases, these options can provide enough recorded information that you will not need to speak to a person.

Step 4

Press "0" to be transferred to an operator, who will help direct your call. You will be transferred to a customer service representative. In certain cases, such as during high call volume, you may be placed on hold until a customer service representative is available.

Step 5

Explain in detail your problem to the Virgin Mobile representative. Depending on the issue, such as billing or technical support, you may be transferred to a different branch of customer service.
