Taking still pictures with your Logitech Quickcam is easy and can be a lot of fun, too. Follow these simple steps and you will be snapping pictures in no time.

How to Take a Picture With a Logitech Quickcam

Step 1

Double-click on your Logitech Quickcam icon. It will be located on your desktop. Another option is to go to your Start menu and click the Logitech Quickcam option. Either will open the window for it.

Click the QuickCapture option from the main window. This will activate your webcam and bring up another window that will display an image of whatever the camera is aimed toward.

Step 3

Point your camera toward whatever you want to take a picture of. You will be able to see the picture before you take it, so now isa good time to make sure the lighting and image size are as you desire them.

Step 4

Click "Take a picture." Your picture and fax viewer should open and display the picture you have just taken. From here, you will have the option to delete the image if you aren't satisfied with it.

Repeat these steps to take as many pictures as you like. If needed, the Logitech QuickCam also has a small black button on top that will take a picture. Use this if it is more convenient that clicking the "Take a picture" option on the display window.
