When traveling abroad, one of the biggest challenges can be communicating with locals who speak a language you don't understand. Like, if you're in France, and someone recommends the best brasserie in town, but you misunderstand, and instead of showing up at a delicious French restaurant, you show up at a bra shop. With the Pilot Translating Earpiece by Waverly Labs, you'll never accidentally go bra shopping again.

Video of the Day

The Pilot Translating Earpiece translates between people speaking different languages. Just hand the second ear piece to the person you want to communicate with, and just like that, you'll be able to understand each other. Or keep the earpiece to yourself and pretend like you totally speak a second language.

Using noise-canceling microphones, the earpiece filters out ambient noise from the speech of someone talking. The device translates using speech recognition, machine translation, machine learning, and speech synthesis technology. The second earpiece returns the translation simultaneously without interruption.

The batteries in the earpieces should last all day, and they're also ideal for streaming music, voice calls, and audio notifications. They come in three colors: red, black, and white.
