If you want to view your Excel data in an actual calendar format, Microsoft makes it easy to convert your data and import it into Outlook, which will automatically format it into an easy-to-read calendar.

Step 1

Open the file containing your data in Microsoft Excel. Make sure that your file has a clear header row at the top of the spreadsheet. The header row contains the names of each field in your spreadsheet. These header fields are needed in order to create a calendar with the correct information.

Go to "File" in the main menu of Excel and choose "Save as." Choose a location on your computer where you want to save your exported file. Go to the "Format" drop-down menu and select "Comma Separated Values (.csv)." Click "OK".

Open Outlook. Go to "File" in the main menu and select "Import and Export."

In the "Import and Export Wizard" pop-up window, go to the "Choose an action to perform" section. Choose "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."

Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" in the "Select File Type" section. Click the "Next" button.
