Verizon offers wireless, landline, TV and Internet connectivity services. Verizon telephone numbers can be transferred from one Verizon account to another as long your new account is still in the same service area as your old account. Even if you get a new Verizon phone with your account you can still transfer your old Verizon phone number.
Step 1
Log in to your Verizon Wireless account. (See Resources.)

Select "Support."
Step 3
Select "Create New Account." Input your new account's information.
Step 4
Select "Port Phone Number." Input your old Verizon number and click "Submit."
Step 5
Click "Save." Your new Verizon account will have your old Verizon phone number with it.
