COVID-19 vaccinations have been rolling out to eligible people throughout the U.S. Select CVS Pharmacy stores are now offering the free COVID-19 vaccine, and you can conveniently book the first and second doses online.
The demand for the vaccine is still extremely high, and a limited number become available at once. If all the appointments in your city are booked, CVS recommends checking back regularly for updates and appointment dates as more vaccines become available.
To sign up, visit the CVS website. Click on your state. Eligibility will be listed at the top of the page with a link to access your state's vaccine information.
If there are available appointments, click Schedule an Appointment now. You'll need to fill out a brief questionnaire about your current health and if you've been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Then select if you need both doses of the vaccine or only the second dose. Next, you'll be asked to confirm your eligibility.
The vaccine is free, but you'll need to bring your insurance card or social security number, driver's license, or state ID number. You'll be asked to schedule both doses of the vaccine at the same time to ensure availability.
