Every MetroPCS account comes with an account number. You may need to refer to the account number if you’re calling about your service or if you need technical help. While MetroPCS can assist you with account and technical problems if you do not have your account number handy, the number makes the process faster.
Look at your text messages. MetroPCS sends customers a text message each month. The message contains billing information and your account number. If you regularly delete your text messages, you will have to contact MetroPCS customer service to obtain your account number.
Call MetroPCS at 1-888-863-8768. Tell the customer service representative you misplaced your account number. The representative may ask you several personal identifying questions, such as your name, address, MetroPCS phone number and account password.
Open and create a word processing document, type in the account number and save it as “MetroPCS account number". Make sure that you save it to both your hard drive and an external memory device, such as a flash drive, in case your hard drive fails.
