Sometimes you come across humans who are doing important and beautiful things for other humans, and you just can't help but be inspired. That's how I feel about Jen and Derek Woodgate, the family behind Cuddle + Kind.
Cuddle + Kind makes hand-knit dolls that are ethically produced and help feed children. Through a partnership with World Food Program USA and other international organizations, for every doll purchased, 10 nutritious meals are given to kids in schools in countries all over the world.
Each doll comes with a name, a birth date, a story, and a favorite quote (adorable baby not included).

The dolls are pricey, but they have to be to provide meals for so many children. A 13" doll ranges from $50 to $52, and a 20" doll ranges from $70 to $72. The company also makes inspirational prints, that are almost as adorable as the dolls themselves. Each sells for $20.
Together with the community, Cuddle + Kind has given over 3.7 million meals.
Visit Cuddle + Kind to buy an adorable doll to give as a gift or for your own child. In doing so, the dolls provide a great opportunity to explain to your kids the importance of helping those who need it.
