Hey Potterheads, if you don't already have plans for Friday, you do now. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite finally begins launching worldwide on Friday, and you're probably not going to ever want to stop playing.
The new augmented reality game comes from the creators of Pokémon Go, and it has been in beta in Australia and New Zealand. It's now making its way to the U.S. and the U.K., just in time for summer—you know, when you have nothing else to do except dive right into J.K. Rowling's world of wizardry.
On the surface, the game is similar to Pokémon Go, in that you'll be looking for digital items to pick up within a physical space in the real world. Wizards Unite, however, is a lot more involved than Pokémon Go, and perhaps harder to grasp. But for dedicated fans, its complexities will make it that much more alluring.
