How Can I Make My Email Address Untraceable?
Major email providers such as Gmail allow you to access auxiliary email addresses on your account, which permits you to send and receive email from your inbox without using or revealing your address. Set up your inbox to send mail from another account to prevent recipients from seeing your actual email address, essentially making it untraceable.
Log in to your email account. Click the "Account Settings" tab, whose location varies depending on which email provider you use, but is almost always along the top of the email interface.
Click the "Account" tab, which is also sometimes labeled "Accounts and Import." Click the "Send Mail from Another Address" button under "Send Mail As."
Input the email address you wish to send from, your full name and click "Continue." Open a new browser tab or window, log in to the auxiliary mail account and click the link within the message your original mail provider sends you to confirm ownership of the account.
Click the drop-down menu that appears next to "To:" whenever you send a new message, and choose an auxiliary email address.
