How Do I Loop an MPEG Video Clip?

By Greyson Ferguson

If you have an MPEG video clip, you like you might want to put the video onto a loop. Playing the video on loop automatically restarts the video once it has finished. To do this, you don't need any special programs or software titles, and any media player (such as QuickTime or Windows Media Player) has the capabilities of playing any video clip in a loop, including MPEG files.

Things You'll Need

  • Computer
  • Media player

Step 1

Double-click the MPEG video file. This launch your media player and open the file onto your computer screen.

Step 2

Select the "View" option at the top of the program window (or the top of the screen if using a Mac).

Step 3

Select "Loop." This puts the video file into loop mode.

Step 4

Click "Play" and the MPEG file begins to play. When the video file finishes, it automatically begins to replay.
