Most credit cards companies offer an incentive program that encourages consumers to spend more with their credit cards. These programs are known as rewards programs or cashback programs. Basically, they allot consumers so many credit card points for so much money spent on their credit cards. Once you have earned enough credit card points, you can redeem them for numerous prizes. You can easily check your credit card points online by logging into your online credit card account.

Things You'll Need

  • Online credit card account

Step 1

Navigate to your credit card provider's website and log into your online account by inputting your user name and password.

Step 2

Click on the "Rewards Points" link located on your account dashboard.

Step 3

View your credit card points in the window that pops up on your screen displaying how many points you have earned to date.

Tips & Warnings

  • Redeem your credit card points when you are eligible by clicking on the "Redeem" link. This will relocate you to the rewards webpage where you may select what you wish to purchase with your credit card points.
  • All credit card accounts might not display your credit card points in the same manner. For instance, Discover Card displays your credit card points in terms of dollars rather than points.
