How to Clear an Internet Search List

By Rochelle Connery

Clear Internet browsing history and search lists to prevent snooping eyes from seeing past searches and visited websites. Stop browsers from automatically filling previous search terms into a text field in a search engine or Web site search form to keep family members from viewing searches for gift ideas or private material. While this procedure does not clear the history from your Internet Protocol address, it makes more obvious information inaccessible to other users on a shared computer.
