How to Contact Facebook With a Problem

By Amy McClain

Facebook offers users a help center, where you can browse through issues by topic. You can also search for a specific issue or use the forum to ask a question, where other users can reply with answers. Unfortunately, Facebook does not provide a direct method of communication to contact them for assistance. You'll first need to utilize the help center to locate your answer, then follow the links to fill out a contact form if further help is needed. Not all issues provide a link to a contact form.

Step 1

Visit from your computer. Enter your username and password, then click "Log In."

Step 2

Click the "Account" link, located at the top right corner of the page, then click "Help Center."

Step 3

Type the issue you need assistance with in the box at the top of the page, then click the "Search" button. You can also click "Browse Help Topics," located at the left side of the page.

Step 4

Click the link that describes the issue you are experiencing.

Step 5

Review the solution and follow the instructions provided to resolve your issue. If further help is needed, for example your account has been compromised, click the available link to fill out the appropriate form. This sends an email to Facebook.
