How to Disable Internet Explorer Add-Ons in Windows 7
It's easy to start piling the add-ons onto your Internet Explorer toolbar. You can add search engine add-ons, weather add-ons, sports add-ons, stock market add-ons, health add-ons and many others. You will choose to install some of these add-ons, but some websites will install Internet Explorer add-ons on your computer without your knowledge. All add-ons have the potential to slow down your Internet Explorer browsing experience. It's always a good idea to go through the list of add-ons and disable any add-ons that either you didn't install or that you no longer use on a regular basis.

Tips & Warnings
- If you think an add-on is slowing down your Internet browsing experience, temporarily disable all of your add-ons after opening up a new browser session. Resume your browser session to see if disabling the add-ons had an impact on your browsing session. If disabling the add-ons improved your browsing experience, experiment by permanently disabling different add-ons to see which add-ons are slowing down your Internet Explorer browser.
- You can always enable add-ons that you permanently disable at a later date if you decide you want the add-on back in your version of Internet Explorer.
