Verizon provides mobile and home phone service, both of which have a voicemail feature. Basic voicemail service from Verizon comes at no cost for customers with monthly service. Although voicemail is free, some Verizon users have no need for it. In such cases, Verizon lets customers disable voicemail service at any time.

Follow the automated operator prompts until you reach a customer service representative. You should only have to press two or three keys until you reach a representative.
