You may own a copy Microsoft Windows XP that experiences some errors. In this situation, you can remedy almost any problem by using a Windows XP Repair CD. Few people know that repair CD and the installation CD are one in the same. Thus, if you have an installation CD you can simply use that one as the repair CD. If you do not have a repair/ installation CD from Microsoft you can download one off of the internet. This should only be done as a last resort, as the downloads available on the internet do not represent official Microsoft releases.
Go to a Microsoft Windows XP Repair CD download site. This site will have the proper downloads.
Download the version of XP you wish to install. You can either get regular XP, service pack 1 or service pack 2.
You can readily use the file you downloaded as an XP Repair option. Otherwise, you can burn the file to a CD to use as an actual Repair CD.
