How to Enable Document Rights on Acrobat Reader
Acrobat Reader, also known as Adobe Reader, is an application that allows you to view and print Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Once a form has been created in the Acrobat application, you can enable usage rights for the form so that you can be able to print it in the 8.0 version and higher versions of Reader. Allowing usage rights also lets you to use commenting and drawing mark-up tools and the option to digitally sign the document.

- Acrobat Reader 8.0
Open the Acrobat Reader on your computer. Click on the “File” option and then click on the “Open” option.
Locate the Acrobat Reader form file that you want to enable usage rights for. Make sure the file is selected and then click on the “Open” button.
Click on the “Advanced” option and then click on the “Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader” option. A dialog box will appear.
Read through the text on the dialog box that lets you know which specific features will be enabled.
Click on the “Save Now” button. Document rights will fully be enabled for your form in Acrobat Reader.
