Included in your Internet Explorer browser is a pop-up blocker to help protect your computer. Without a pop-up blocker, pop-ups might overtake your browser or infect your computer with malicious viruses. When using Internet Explorer, it is important to have control over what websites are blocked by the pop-up blocker. By editing the settings in the Internet Explorer pop-up blocker, you can allow specific websites to display pop-ups. Find the pop-up blocker settings in the Tools menu in Internet Explorer.
Open an Internet Explorer window.
Click "Tools" from the Command bar. The Command bar contains the Home, Read Mail and Print buttons.
Hover your mouse over "Pop-up Blocker" and click "Pop-up Blocker Settings" to change the settings of your pop-up blocker. To toggle on or off, click "Turn On Pop-up Blocker" or "Turn Off Pop-up Blocker."
