How to Install Free DVD Decoder for Windows XP

Installing a free DVD decoder is easy and quick. Many options exist such as VLC media player and HandBrake. VLC and HandBrake are open source and completely free, requiring no purchase and will not expire after 30 days of use. HandBrake has many presets for commonly used devices like ipods, phones, and media players. VLC lacks this ease of use but does offer the ability to play everything according to it's website. It is only legal to backup DVDs with permission from the creator of the DVD.
