How to Make a Monthly Calendar in Excel

If you want to create a monthly calendar, you can do so by using Microsoft Excel, which provides access to many calendar templates on Microsoft Office Online. After you download a calendar template, you can add appointments to it or print it. You only need to open Excel and perform a few simple steps to get started.

Step 1

Open Microsoft Excel and click the Office button. You can open, print or create a new spreadsheet here.

Step 2

Click "New." The "New Workbook" window will open. You can create a new workbook here or look for a template to download.

Step 3

Type "monthly calendar" in the Microsoft Office Online search bar and click the "Search" button. A list of monthly calendars you can download in Excel will open.

Step 4

Select a monthly calendar template to download, then click the "Download" button. The monthly calendar template will download and open as a new workbook.

Step 5

Make any changes you want to the calendar. For example, you can add information to dates on the calendar or change the font size. After you are finished, click the "Save" icon to save any changes made.
