How to Make a Webpage Your Homepage

By Liam Walter

Save time browsing on the web by assigning a frequently visited site as your homepage. You might not find the default homepage designated by your browser as relevant for your needs. For example, Mozilla Firefox's default homepage is the Firefox website. A webpage of your email or a financial organizer can remind you of pertinent information. Setting a webpage as your homepage is relatively easy and only takes a few steps.

Step 1

Open your web browser and navigate to the address of the webpage that you want to designate as your homepage.

Step 2

In Firefox, click on "Tools," "Options" and select "General" in the taskbar.

Step 3

Select "Use Current" under the box labeled "Homepage" and click "OK."
