Communicating with several people cause your contact list to become cluttered. The instructions below show you how to remove contacts from your Gmail account.

How to Remove Contacts from Gmail

Step 1

On the left side of the Gmail window, click the "Contacts" link just above your Gmail chat box.

Step 2

Select one or multiple email addresses you want to delete from the contacts directory.

Step 3

Once you've checked all email addresses for removal, click the "Delete" button at the right side of the screen.

Step 4

Confirm your selection, and click "OK" on the confirmation screen.

Step 5

To return to your email, click the "Inbox" link on the left of the screen.
