How to Set Up My Net10 Voicemail

By Thomas McNish

Voicemail is essentially an answering machine with portability. If someone tries to call your cell phone number and you're unable to answer, they can simply leave a voice message, which you can check from your phone at a more convenient time. Net10 is a company that sells pre-paid phones and provides the voicemail service for the phones as well. If you've got a Net10 phone, but haven't taken advantage of its voicemail service yet, you can get started now and be finished in just a few minutes.

From Your Cell Phone

Step 1

Turn on your Net10 phone and put it in standby mode (at the home screen without any applications open).

Step 2

Press and hold down the "1" button for a few seconds.

Step 3

Follow the voice prompts and enter your four-digit password when prompted. By default, this is the last four numbers of your Net10 mobile number.

From the Internet

Step 1

Log in to the Net10 website (see Resource).

Step 2

Hover your mouse over the "Service & Support" icon, then click "Voicemail."

Step 3

Enter your phone number or phone's serial number in the proper space, then click "Continue."

Step 4

Follow the onscreen prompts and fill out any necessary information (such as mobile number, name, e-mail address etc.) to finish setting up your voicemail.
