How to Show a GIF on Facebook
If you are a member of Facebook and you have a GIF image file on your computer, you might want to show other people the GIF by uploading it to share on your Facebook page. Facebook allows anyone aged 13 or older to sign up for a free account, and join the 750 million-plus members of the social networking site. You use Facebook to stay in touch with people, and share information including text posts, videos and images. You can easily show your GIF on Facebook.
Start your Web browser, navigate to the Facebook website at facebook.com, then log in to your account.
Click "Profile" at the top of the page.
Click "Photos" on the left side of the page, and your Photos page opens.
Click "Upload Photos" at the top of the page, and the Upload Photos window appears.
Click "Select Photos," then a dialog box opens.
Click the folder on your computer containing the GIF that you want to share. Click the GIF to select it, then click "Open."
Type a name for an album for your GIF in the "Name of Album" box. Click the "Share Album With" pull-down menu, then click an option such as "Friends Only" or "Everyone." Click "Create Album," and the "Edit Album" page appears.
Type a description of your GIF in the "Description" text box.
Click "Publish Now" to publish the GIF to your Facebook page.
Click "Photos" to see your uploaded GIF. People will see the GIF when they click "Photos" on your page.
