Things You'll Need

Step 1

Open iPhoto.

Step 2

Drag all the pictures you want to sync to your iPhone into iPhoto. If you prefer, you can organize these into different albums and events using the iPhoto program.

Step 3

Plug the USB syncing cable that came with your iPhone into both the iPhone and your computer. When your computer recognizes the iPhone, iTunes will automatically open.

Click your iPhone's icon in the bar in the list on the left-hand side of the iTunes screen.

Step 5

Click the tab for "Photos." You'll find this in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.

Step 6

Choose iPhoto in the pop-up selection tool that says "Sync photos from."

Step 7

Select the photos to be synced.

Step 8

Click the "Sync" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 9

Watch for the completion notification at the top of the iTunes window.

Step 10

Eject the device using the "Eject" icon next to your iPhone's icon.

Step 11

Unplug your iPhone from the computer and remove the cord from the iPhone.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you've organized your photos into albums in iPhoto, it's easier to be more selective about the photos you sync to your iPhone. This saves space on the device.
