How to Unlock the Key Board
Computer parts can sometimes become locked, either accidentally or by a change in computer settings. This includes the keyboard, an essential computer component that allows you to complete daily computer tasks. To unlock the keyboard, use the mouse to change a few settings.
Press the "Start" button with your mouse. Click "Computer Settings", then "Control Panel."
Choose "Accessibility Options". Click the "Keyboard" tab.
Uncheck all three boxes labeled "StickyKeys", "FilterKeys" and "ToggleKeys".
Click "Apply", then click "OK". Press the X at the top of the grey box to exit out of the settings panel. Your keyboard should now be unlocked.
