How to View My T-Mobile Prepaid Account

By C. Taylor

A T-Mobile prepaid account allows you to have a cell phone without a contract or a credit check. As the name implies, the plans are paid for in advance, which means that your service will be unavailable when you run out of funds. In the case of monthly plans, your service may terminate if you fail to renew before the end of your term. Therefore, keeping tabs on your account balance and when you need to reload is important for uninterrupted service.

Things You'll Need

  • T-Mobile cell phone

Step 1

Go to the T-Mobile website and click "Login / Sign up" at the top right of the screen. At the bottom of the drop-down menu, click "Register for MyT-mobile."

Step 2

Enter your T-Mobile phone number in the bottom field and click "Send me a password." T-Mobile will send a text message with a temporary password to your phone.

Step 3

Check your cell phone for the text message and locate the temporary password.

Step 4

Return to the T-Mobile page and click "Login / Sign up" again, and enter your phone number and temporary password. Click "Login" to continue. You will be prompted to change your temporary password.

Step 5

Change your temporary password to something of your choosing by following the prompts. When completed, you will be redirected to your account status page, where you can review your account details. On subsequent visits, you will be immediately directed to your account, without the need to change your password.
