based on the following sites

PROS

  • Th 15-inch MacBook Pro is Apple's fastest, most powerful MacBook. Battery life is excellent.
  • The optional dedicated AMD graphics deliver increased performance for graphics work and video editing.
  • The Retina display is beautiful.

CONS

  • This is Apple's largest laptop and--at 4.49 pounds--its heaviest.
  • It's expensive, especially when you add the dedicated AMD graphics.
  • Apple didn't upgrade the CPU this time around. Blame it on Intel's manufacturing delays.
Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro is the largest and most powerful MacBook available since the 17-inch model was discontinued in 2012. This laptop packs a Retina display along with an option for dedicated AMD graphics, making it the ideal mobile workstation for Mac users who need the most power in a portable form. Despite being larger and heavier than its MacBook siblings, the 15-inch model still offers strong battery life. The 15-inch model is targeted largely toward professionals who want dedicated graphics and more power, which explains why it's so much more expensive than the smaller MacBooks.

Don't act surprised—the 2015 MacBook Pro 15" has the exact same aluminum chassis as the earlier generations. Which is understandable, of course, because it's neatly polished, impeccably well assembled and void of any real flaws. All the same, it would be nice to see some more risk-taking.

Love my Mac!
My Macbook Pro is amazing! Super powerful, elegant design and easy to use. Its sleek light weight design makes it easy to travel with and not a burden. The OS is tidy, easy to use and intuitive. If you're coming from a PC there is a small curve, but you definitely won't be disappointed by making the switch. PC's are a thing of the past. Macs are the future!

Best Laptop ever!
If you still think getting a Mac would block you out of games, think twice. Most of the latest and greatest games are Mac compatible. This MBP has everything I need, from the size of the screen to graphic card that can render stunning graphics. With all the awesome power this MBP brings, the battery life is surprisingly good. I've had my MBP lightly used for a whole week with no charging and still has 20% juice left.

Quality Product
I bought my first Macbook Pro in 2007 and it lasted me over seven years of perfect usage. It's a great, sleek machine and extremely easy to use, with tons of space and capability for any filmmaker like myself. Enjoy!

It's worth it's weight in gold
This is my second Mac book pro. I went from a 2008 to this one. Wow what a difference! It's about half the thickness and half the weight, but amazingly faster. It is very expensive, but the build quality is unmatched. Also the process to transfer all my data from my old Mac to this one was extremely painless.

Yes...but
Been a Mac user for more than 20 yrs and my 15 inch MBPro has been a workhorse. Dependable, reasonably quick. Sadly, I have not been as pleased with the migrations that have occurred.
