PROS

  • The Pixel C Bluetooth keyboard is well designed and attaches firmly enough to be held upside down.
  • It runs an Nvidia Tegra X1 processor with 3GB of RAM, so you'll have the power to do what you need.
  • It uses a fast and powerful USB type C connector.

CONS

  • It's pricey and the keyboard is $149 extra--and you'll want the keyboard.
  • It runs Android 6.0 rather than full Windows.
  • The tablet is top heavy.
Google’s Pixel C--the “C” stands for convertible--is a tablet with an optional snap-on keyboard. The tablet features a 10.2-inch screen with a bright backlight and 2560 X 1800-pixel resolution. The Pixel C boasts a premium look with both screen and keyboard housed in brushed anodized aluminum. The keyboard communicates via Bluetooth, and when it’s docked the on-screen keyboard stays off. The keyboard charges inductively when attached to the tablet and remains neatly out of the way until you need it thanks to self-aligning magnets.
