PROS

  • The Aquos Crystal has unrivaled looks thanks to the lack of a bezel on three sides.
  • The camera won't win any photography contests, but it'll get the job done for your everyday shots.
  • It's an affordable device, as long as you're OK with using Sprint's network.

CONS

  • The audio quality for calls needs to be improved.
  • The included storage is low; you'll paying extra for a bigger microSD card.
  • The front-facing camera is located at the bottom of the phone, making it awkward to shoot selfies.
Sharp's Aquos Crystal is the only smartphone offering a bezel-less design. The left, top, and right sides all feature a screen that goes to the edge of the frame, leaving the bottom of the device to house all the components--including the ambient light sensor and camera--stuffed along the bottom of the screen. Internally, the Aquos Crystal has a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch HD display, 1GB of memory, and 8GB of internal storage, with microSD support up to 128GB. The back houses an 8 MP camera with 1080p video-recording capabilities. The battery is 2,040 mAh in size.
