It's been 23 years since The Magic School bus drove its way into our lives. Scholastic's franchise from the '90s consisted of a book series, a TV show, and several video games. The story followed Mrs. Frizzle and her class as they set off on educational adventures inside a school bus that could magically transform into a plane, a submarine, a spaceship, a time machine, or anything else the class needed to embark on exciting and unusual field trips.
The original show may have ended in 1997, but Mrs. Frizzle and her students are back! Netflix will release the first season of The Magic School Bus Rides Again on September 29th, so now your kids will have the chance to experience the best field trips ever, and you'll get to relive a part of your childhood right alongside them.
_Saturday Night Live'_s Kate McKinnon will be taking over Lily Tomlin's role as the voice of the quirky Mrs. Frizzle — the kids' teacher and bus driver extraordinaire who, amazingly, hasn't aged a bit. The McKinnon has also voiced characters in Finding Dory and the upcoming films Leap! and Ferdinand.
