How Do I Cancel Sprint?
Some things just aren't made to last. If you feel it is time to break up with your cellphone carrier, communication is key. Sprint offers many options for contacting its customer service representatives, and you may even be able to cancel without a penalty.
Love It or Cancel It
Sprint offers a satisfaction guarantee. If you aren't satisfied with your Sprint service, you can cancel it within the first 14 days of your contract without penalty. Just return your phone to where you purchased it -- online, at a Sprint store or an independent retailer -- and contact Sprint to deactivate the service. Sprint will refund the purchase price of the phone and waive the early termination fee. You may be responsible for some charges such as usage or a restocking fee. Early Termination Fees
If you have a one- or two-year contract with Sprint and cancel after 14 days of activation, you will be subject to an early termination fee. The termination fee is up to $350 per advanced device, and $200 per other device. You can estimate your actual fee, based on the remainder of your service agreement, on [Sprint's website](http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Learn_about_early_termination_fee/case-sp061027-20110823-171256). Some customers are not subject to the early termination fee -- for example, customers who paid full price for their phone, customers in Sprint's Easy Pay program and Sprint Prepaid customers.
Canceling Your Service Contract

Sprint may waive the early termination penalty in some cases. For example, if you are moving out of the country or are moving outside of Sprint's coverage area, ask Sprint's customer service about waiving the fee. You may be asked to provide evidence you are relocating. If you are going on an extended vacation outside of the Sprint coverage area, you may be able to place your phone on Seasonal Standby for a minimal monthly fee and avoid having to terminate your contract.
