How to Arrange Icons on an iPhone
The Apple iPhone is a smart phone manufactured by Apple Inc. The iPhone revolutionized the way users interact with their phones with its multi-touch screen and multimedia capabilities. The iPhone popularized third-party applications with the App Store, allowing users to customize their devices with a unique set of apps. Arranging icons representing those apps for convenience and quicker access is an easy process on the iPhone or even through iTunes.
Things You'll Need
- iTunes (optional)
- iPhone sync cable (optional)
Arranging Icons on the iPhone
Press the "Home" button on your iPhone. If the device is locked, slide the arrow icon across the screen to unlock it.
Locate the icons you want to rearrange.
Touch and hold the display for a few seconds. The icons will begin to wiggle with a black and white "X" in the left corner.
Touch and hold the icon you want to move. Move it to the location on the screen where you want it to appear and let it go. The other icons will automatically move and rearrange themselves. If you want to move the icon to another home screen, hold it to the edge of the screen in the direction of the screen you want to put it on. Let it go when you have found the home screen you want it to appear on.
