How to Change iPhone Weather

By Christopher Kennedy

The Apple iPhone comes with native preinstalled apps that increase your productivity and provide information at your fingertips. These include Stocks, Notes, Email, Calendar, Clock, Maps and Weather apps, among others. The Weather app shows the week's forecast, featuring weather conditions and temperature highs and lows. Changing the location from the default city is easy. Users can also add multiple cities for their convenience.

Step 1

Tap the Weather app on your iPhone's home screen. If you have rearranged your icons, the app may be on a subsequent home screen, which can be accessed by swiping your finger across each screen.

Step 2

Touch the "i" icon in the lower right corner of the Weather app's blue window. Cities with weather forecasts appear in your app.

Step 3

Add a city to your Weather list by pressing the "+" icon in the top left corner of the window. Search for a location by City and State or Zip code. Type the information in the input box at the top of the window and select "Search." Select the location from the list of search results. It will be added to your Weather list.

Step 4

Delete any city that you don't want to appear. Touch the red icon to the left of the city name, then touch "Delete." Touch "Done" when finished. Swipe your finger across the screen to access weather forecasts for other locations.
