How to Delete the Wallpaper on the Lock Screen of an iPhone

When an iPhone isn't in use for a specified period of time, the “Lock Screen” appears. This screen is intended to prevent accidental tapping which could initiate unwanted actions, such as deleting an application or making a phone call. The lock screen consists of a slider for unlocking the phone and an image — also known as a wallpaper. The iPhone comes with a standard wallpaper consisting of an image of the Earth. Although you can't delete the wallpaper altogether, you can switch it with another wallpaper or a photo saved on your phone.
