How to Retrieve a GoDaddy Email

By Diana Braun

GoDaddy provides domain registration, web hosting and email hosting accounts. With the registration of a domain, users are given several free credits to create custom email addresses. Users can also purchase an email plan to host additional email addresses. A custom email address uses the domain name of your website to make your company look professional. Instead of having an @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com email address, you can have an @yourcompanyname.com email address. GoDaddy then hosts your emails on an email server for you to retrieve.

Step 1

Login to the GoDaddy Email Server. Enter your email address and password and click the "Log In" button. Your email address is in the form of yourname@domain.com. For example, if your website is redroses.com, your email address would be yourname@redroses.com (replace "yourname" with your actual name or the name your email account was set up with).

Step 2

Click "Inbox" from the email dashboard.

Step 3

Double-click the email message you wish to read.
