How to See a Person's Pictures on Facebook Without Being a Member

Social networking website Facebook allows its members to protect the privacy of their accounts and items they post and upload to the site, such as photos. If a member chooses less restrictive privacy settings, it's possible even for web users who aren't members of Facebook to view his profile and the content he's posted. As a result, it's possible to view photos of some Facebook members, even if you aren't a member of the site yourself.

Navigate to the person's profile, by clicking a link to it that you received in an email or instant message or by typing a URL in the "" format into your browser's address bar, where [facebookusername] is replaced by the username of the individual you seek.

Click the person's "Profile Picture" in the upper-left corner of his profile. Alternatively, click any of the thumbnail images.

Scroll through the images that are publicly viewable by clicking the arrows that appear to the left or right of the photo you view. Click the name of the photo album, listed in the lower-left corner of the screen, if you see one. If not, the user has set the album as private.
