How to Send Pictures to Verizon Cell Phones
Sending information to a non-smartphone may seem like a difficult proposition. A smartphone generally includes email and Web browsing capabilities, making it easy to download pictures and files or send them from your computer. However, sending a picture from your computer to your Verizon cell phone is still possible using email. This lets you have a picture for caller ID or wallpapers.
Things You'll Need
- A Verizon Wireless cell phone
- A texting or data plan (though not necessary)
Open your email client on your computer or open your Web mail client if you use Gmail, Yahoo Mail or a similar service. Click the "Compose" or "New" button in your email application.
Attach the picture to the email message using the "Attach" button in your email client. Keep in mind that many phones have limited memory, so try to keep the images relatively small.
Type your phone number in the "To" field, followed by "@vzwpix.com". Click "Send" to send the email to your phone.
Tips & Warnings
- The "@vzwpix.com" address lets you send small video files to compatible phones. It also has a higher text limit of up to 1000 characters.
