How to Set Up a Coby Digital Picture Frame
Digital cameras have replaced film cameras as the standard for taking pictures. Pictures taken with digital cameras are saved on a removable memory card that you can use in other electronic devices. The advent of digital picture technology has created several products that take advantage of the digital technology. One product that uses the technology is the Coby digital picture frame. The picture frame displays images from a memory card.
Things You'll Need
- Kickstand, supplied with the frame
- Memory card
- AC adapter
Attach the kickstand, which is the plastic arm that allows the frame to stand up on a flat surface, to the back of the picture frame. To attach the kickstand, hold the kickstand over the round connecting area on the back of the frame. Screw the connecting screw into the frame through the hole in the kickstand.
Insert the memory card into the memory card slot on the left side of the picture frame. Press firmly on the card until it clicks in place. The memory card stores your image files and is necessary to display your pictures.
Connect the small end of the AC adapter into the DC jack located on the right side of the picture frame and plug the other end of the adapter into an electrical outlet.
Turn on the digital picture frame by pressing the "Power" switch to the "On" position. The frame's main menu will appear on the screen. From the main menu you can choose the type of file you want to display or the audio file you want to play.
Use the arrow buttons to select the type of file you want to play and press the "Enter" button. A list of the available files will appear on the screen.
Highlight the file you want to play with the arrow buttons and press the "Enter" button.
