The iPhone is a multimedia-enriched smartphone designed, manufactured and sold by Apple. The phone allows users to browse the Internet, check emails, send and receive text messages, download apps and make and receive phone calls. The phone is charged using an AC power adapter that is inserted into a wall outlet or powered by th USB drive of your computer. Recharge your iPhone. Plug your phone into an electrical outlet using the supplied iPhone AC adapter. The screen of an iPhone that is extremely low on power may be blank for up to two minutes until power is restored.
Restart your iPhone. Press and hold the "Sleep/Wake" button located at the top right of the phone. A red slider image appears on screen. Slide your finger across the image to turn your phone off. Press and hold the "Sleep/Wake" button to turn your phone back on.
Check for software updates. Attach your iPhone to your computer using the supplied USB cable. ITunes launches on your desktop. Click your iPhone under "Devices" in iTunes. Click "Check for Update" in the Summary tab and follow the onscreen instructions.
