To prevent unnecessarily high monthly bills, some T-Mobile customers choose to have their text messaging feature blocked from their accounts. However, they may decide later that they would like to add text messaging back to their T-Mobile accounts so that they can begin to text message their friends and family members once again. Unblocking the text messaging feature can be done from your home computer and takes only a few minutes to complete.

Log in to your My T-Mobile online account at my.t-mobile.com.
Click "Manage," and then select "Plans & Services."
Click the "Remove" button next to the text and media message blocking feature, and then click "Change Services."
Select "Save" and log out of your My T-Mobile account when you are done. Message blocking will now be turned off, and you will once again be able to restore your messaging features.
