If you're a world traveler, you probably know how annoying it can be carrying around numerous travel adaptors so you can plug in your electronics in each country you visit without them blowing up.
Well, the travel life is about to get a little easier. There's a Kickstarter happening for the "world's smallest universal travel adaptor" that not only consolidates all travel adaptors into one, it's tiny and really cool looking.
Micro is compatible in over 150 countries and on all seven continents. So, now you can travel literally all over the world, and you'll only need one adaptor for all your gadgets.
Here's how it works
Micro has top and bottom release levers that have two positions: locked and unlocked. To release a set of pins, slide the lever to the left into its unlocked position.
There are four different faces that will work in almost every country. For some countries like Australia, you'll need to twist the pins. For many European countries, you'll use the bottom lever to release the pins. The UK requires the use of a modular pin. And for the U.S. and 54 other countries, use the top lever to release the pins, then lock them into position.
So far, the Kickstarter has raised over $289,000, far surpassing the $19,942 goal. The expected price of Micro is $225, and if all continues to go well, you might be able to buy your very own Micro before you take off on your next trip.
