Hot Wearables at Hot Prices
In the market for a smartwatch or a fitness tracker? Here are the best deals on the hottest wearables.
Today’s hottest technology isn’t sitting on your desk or even in your pocket. It’s on your wrist. The latest and greatest devices are wearables that bring smartphone notifications, alerts, and fitness tracking to you, wherever you are. And though the coolest wearables can cost more than some devices ten times their size, there are deals to be found.
The Pebble Time smartwatch lacks the some of the fancy extras found on higher-end devices, but it also lacks the sky-high price tag. And Amazon is currently offering this moderately priced smartwatch at a bargain price: The retailer has the Pebble Time smartwatch in black for $79.95—a good deal on a device that typically sells for around $100. (This offer is for the black version only; Amazon is charging $10 more for the watch in red or white.)
The Pebble Time features an always-on color display and a battery that can last for a couple of days at a time. (That battery life may not sound astonishingly great, but it's unheard of in the world of smartwatches.) The Pebble Time is also water resistant and works with both Android and iOS phones.

If you want the Apple Watch, and only the Apple Watch, you might have to settle for the first-generation version to save a few bucks. But if you’re willing to do that, you can save plenty. BestBuy.com is offering the first-generation Apple Watch in a 38mm stainless steel version with a black sport band for $249. Rival Amazon is currently selling the same watch for $100 more.

Looking for more of a fitness watch? Overstock.com has a good deal on the popular Fitbit Blaze, offering it in black or plum for $169.99. The Blaze lists for $200 and typically sells for close to that price. It offers Fitbit’s well-known and well-regarded step and activity tracking, as well as guided on-screen workouts, a color touchscreen, and smartphone notifications.
Overstock.com is offering a deal on another Fitbit, too: the original Flex. This basic activity tracker lists for $100 and typically sells for between $80 and $90, but Overstock has it in various colors for $69.99. That price fetches you a slim wristband activity tracker that counts steps, calories, and distance traveled, and measures sleep. The Flex lacks a display, but it has five small lights that let you visually track your daily progress.
