How Do I Change the Acrobat Signature Password?
A digital signature in Adobe Acrobat helps to verify the authenticity of someone distributing or signing a document. The password linked to the digital signature ensures that only the authorized party uses the signature. You are able to change the password of any signature stored in Acrobat, provided you know the existing password.
Click on the "Advanced" menu and select "Security Settings." The "Security Settings" window opens.
Select the "Digital IDs" category and the "Digital ID Files" subcategory. A list of the available digital signatures appears in the main area of the window.
Click on the signature file you want to change to select it.
Click "Change Password." Enter the old password in the upper text box. Enter and confirm the new password in the remaining text boxes. Click "OK." Click "Close" to leave the "Security Settings" window.
