How to Automatically Forward Email From an AT&T Account to Gmail

By Rex Molder

AT&T provides its Internet customers with a Yahoo! Mail Plus account for Web-based email. Among the options available to users is the option to forward messages received in the AT&T account automatically to one or more additional email addresses. This is a convenient way to keep track of your AT&T messages if you don't log in regularly to your AT&T account. If you use Gmail as your primary email service, you can forward your AT&T messages to your Gmail account easily.

Step 1

Log in to your AT&T Web mail account.

Step 2

Choose "Options." Depending on the appearance you have chosen for your AT&T Web mail page, you will either click the "Options" tab at the top of the page or you will click the "Options" link on the left side of the page.

Step 3

Click the "Account Management" link.

Step 4

Click the radio button next to either "On - Forward and keep a copy" or "On - Forward, then discard," depending on your preference.

Step 5

Enter your Gmail address into the "Forwarding address" box. Notice that you can enter multiple addresses separated by a comma.

Step 6

Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
